From 10 A.M.to 11 A.M. each week during the school year, Harvard-Epworth has Christian Education opportunities available for all ages.
Children's Sunday School
Elementary Sunday school meets downstairs for Godly Play sessions.
Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story. This allows them to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiritual curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children of all ages. Come join us!
Youth Sunday School
Middle and high school youth meet upstairs in the balcony for sessions based on the Echo the Story curriculum. Through storytelling, creative reflection and dialogue, these classes allow youth to experience the fullness of the biblical narrative.
The Adult Forum meets Sunday morning from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the Library (September through June)
Topics are inspired by requests from the congregation. The themes covered are diverse, and aim to explore intellectually and spiritually challenging subjects. Discussions range from deep exploration of the Bible and the United Methodist Church History to special interest themes — such as politics and religion, John Wesley, or faith and justice. It is a safe and welcoming environment to address topics and engage in dialogue.
If there is a topic you would like to see added to the list or you would like to lead an adult forum, contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
